WordPress sign in this is the most important and obvious place to start with our new WordPress tutorials. Even if you had someone (like me) build you the perfect WordPress blog you should still learn how to use WordPress so you do not have to pay someone every time your blog needs to be updated or if you just want to do some customizations of your own.

This may all seem redundant to you at this stage but if you are just learning to work with a WordPress blog for the first time it can be confusing when there are different phrases for just one step.
There will be times when you will have to contact your hosting provider’s support department and if you are trying to explain a problem you might be having and they ask you for your WordPress administration details you will know that is the same as your WordPress sign in page.
Signing in to your WordPress blog is an amazingly simple process but it is also one of the most important aspects because once you learn how to access your WordPress admin section you will be able to customize your blog so that it really stands out from the crowd.
To access your WordPress sign in page you will need to type the URL address into your address bar at the top of your browser and hit “enter” and that will open a page where you will have to enter your username and password.
How To Access The WordPress Sign In Page
Now if you took advantage of my Free blog offer then I would supply you with your WordPress login details.
However if you or someone else setup your WordPress blog they would have had to create the database, database password and your WordPress admin name. If you do not have these details you will have to ask the developer who installed your base settings for the WordPress sign in details.
There are actually a couple of ways you can use to sign in to your WordPress blog although for the sake of simplicity in the video I just show you the correct and most popular way to sign into your WordPress blog.
To access your WordPress sign in page all you have to do is type a forward slash at the end of your domain name followed by wp-admin and another forward slash so the complete address would look like this: http://www.yourdomainname.com/wp-admin/
However you can also reach the WordPress sign in page by typing in the following URL into the address bar: http://www.yourdomainname.com/wp-login.php
Accessing The WordPress Sign In Page When Your Blog Is In Its Own Directory
If you happened to have your blog installed into a directory on your domain then you would have to add that directory name before the WordPress sign in command. For example a lot of bloggers like to install WordPress in a directory called “blog,” as this gives them more flexibility when it comes to designing additional pages.
In this case the WordPress sign in URL would look like this: http://www.yourdomainname.com/blog/wp-admin/ or you could use the other option with the ending being: wp-login.php
I realize that to many of you this will seem fairly basic and you might think I am over explaining the WordPress sign in process but trust me after teaching hundreds of people how to use WordPress over the past six or seven years I have learned to never assume anything regardless of how simple it may be.
As we make it through these WordPress tutorials all the steps I will be teaching you will eventually become second nature to you. If you watch the video I show you how to reach the WordPress sign in page and the inside of your WordPress admin section.
